Biomagnetic Pair Therapy

Biomagnetic Pair Therapy

Biomagnetic Pair Therapy is a non-invasive, deeply relaxing modality developed by Dr. Isaac Goiz Durán, who built on earlier magnetic-field research to create what he called Medicinal Biomagnetism. The work rests on a simple premise: that the body's internal terrain — its pH balance — shapes the environment in which health is either sustained or disrupted, and that pairs of points within the body hold a polarized relationship to one another.

In a session, the practitioner uses a magnet to scan the body and identify these biomagnetic pairs — paired points that register a pH distortion toward acidity or alkalinity. Where a pair is identified, two medium-intensity magnets of opposite polarity (positive and negative) are placed simultaneously on the corresponding points. The intention is to bring the local terrain back toward neutrality, the balanced state in which the body is best equipped to regulate and restore itself. Goiz mapped hundreds of these pairs over decades of clinical work.

The experience itself is gentle. You remain fully clothed and lie comfortably while the magnets rest in place; most people settle into a deep state of relaxation for the duration of the session, which generally runs about an hour. There is no needle, no substance, and nothing added to or taken from the body — only the magnets and time.

Biomagnetic Pair Therapy is offered as a complementary practice that supports the body's own balance and resilience. It works well alongside the other restorative modalities at Ashbrook and is intended to complement, not replace, conventional medical care.
